Combining dark or bittersweet chocolate and tahini (sesame paste) will give you incredibly delicious chocolate truffles with optional mix-in ingredients like nuts, seeds, or dried fruits. This satisfies those chocolate cravings without all the added sugar of typical desserts.
Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl and microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until chocolate is melted.
Add tahini and whisk until combined and smooth. Stir in nuts (optional).
Spread into an 8x8-inch pan that's been lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate until set, at least 3 hours, then cut into 36 squares.
Need it sweeter? Mix in pitted & chopped medjool dates for added natural sweetness without adding refined sugar.
Keep in the fridge as they will start to melt at room temperature. Serve cold.
