Healthy Chocolate Tahini Truffles (2 Ingredients)

Combining dark or bittersweet chocolate and tahini (sesame paste) will give you incredibly delicious chocolate truffles with optional mix-in ingredients like nuts, seeds, or dried fruits. This satisfies those chocolate cravings without all the added sugar of typical desserts.

Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz (300 g) 54%-60% cocoa dark/bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 ½ cup (300 g) tahini (sesame paste)
  • optional - ¾ cup of your favorite add-ins like chopped nuts , seeds, or dried fruit

Instructions

  1. Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl and microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until chocolate is melted.

  2. Add tahini and whisk until combined and smooth. Stir in nuts (optional).

  3. Spread into an 8x8-inch pan that's been lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate until set, at least 3 hours, then cut into 36 squares.

Recipe Notes

Need it sweeter? Mix in pitted & chopped medjool dates for added natural sweetness without adding refined sugar.

Storing and Serving

Keep in the fridge as they will start to melt at room temperature. Serve cold.
